Preschool Teacher Julie Miller
Email: jjmiller@runestone.net
Julie has served as the Preschool Teacher at Zion Lutheran/Kids in Christ Preschool since 2007, joyfully teaching and caring for our youngest learners for over 18 years. She began her teaching career in 1998 and quickly discovered her deep love for Early Childhood Education.
Julie grew up in Wyndmere, North Dakota, as the youngest of seven children. Surrounded by nieces and nephews from an early age, she developed a natural love for spending time with little ones. That joy inspired her to pursue a degree in education. She graduated from Valley City State University in North Dakota with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education.
Julie is married to Jason, a dedicated farmer, and together they have three sons—Ryan, Justin, and Logan.
Family is very important to her. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones, relaxing with some quiet TV time, attending Christian concerts, and weeding in her garden during the summer months. Julie is an active and faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church and a devoted part of our ministry team.
She is blessed to share the love of Jesus with your little ones in her classroom. Inspired by His words, “Let the little children come to Me” (Mark 10:14), she strives to help each child grow in both faith and understanding. She also takes to heart the guidance of Deuteronomy 6:7, teaching God’s truth in everyday moments and helping the next generation know that they are deeply loved, valued, and known by their Savior.
