More About Us:
LWML, or Women in Mission, is a community of everyday women across the LCMS—whether in congregations, on campuses, or in care homes—who are dedicated to supporting missions through volunteer service, prayer, and financial gifts like Mite Box offerings. Some gather in groups, others serve individually, but all use their God-given gifts to share Christ’s love and support Gospel work around the world.
Our focus is missions—hence Women in Mission! We provide opportunities for women to grow in faith, learn about how God is at work locally and globally, and actively support that work through service, prayer, and generous giving. Since 1942, Mite Box offerings have helped fund over $100 million in mission grants.
