What to Expect

At the present time, Zion Lutheran Church offers a single traditional service every Sunday at 9:00AM based on the liturgy found in the Lutheran Service Book. Hymns of praise, thanksgiving, and glory are sung by the congregation throughout the service with both a children's sermon and a main sermon given by Pastor Stockman. His sermon’s are biblically based and are filled with stories that are relevant to today’s local and current events.
Additionally, because we are deeply concerned about your spiritual welfare, and acknowledge the warning that St. Paul gives in 1 Corinthians 11:27-30 regarding the receiving of the Lord's Supper unworthily, Closed Communion is practiced at Zion Lutheran Church. This means visitors and guests should check with the Pastor before the service to determine if they may participate in the Lord's Supper.
Zion Lutheran Church also provides multiple ways to experience our Sunday church services. Head over to our Youtube channel, Facebook page, local access channel, and even the Video Services tab on this website to find both live and previous services recorded in HD. We also have a 30 minute broadcast each Sunday on the local radio station (KMRS 107.7 FM / 1230 AM).
